An annual Wellbeing program that turned employee wellbeing into an organizational strategy
At Afeka College, we set out to build an ongoing, data-driven organizational process that connects employee wellbeing with business growth. Through an in-depth assessment, we identified key employee needs, including workload, burnout, gaps in connection, and a sense of belonging. Based on the findings, we developed an annual program tailored to the academic calendar and the organization’s structure.
The program was built as a holistic approach combining physical and emotional wellbeing, leadership, professional development, and community. Throughout the year, clear goals were defined and meaningful metrics were measured, including participation rates, employee engagement, qualitative feedback, and trends in workload and burnout.
Improved engagement and belonging metrics
A new organizational conversation around Wellbeing
Embedding habits, not just activities
Mindfulness for development teams
In technology organizations, and particularly among development teams, the work environment is often characterized by ongoing pressure, multiple tasks, and tight deadlines. With this understanding, a dedicated mindfulness workshop was developed for development teams in a global organization, designed to provide practical tools for managing workload, improving focus, and strengthening personal resilience throughout the workday.
The workshop combined insights from neuroscience with short, practical exercises that could be easily integrated between meetings, tasks, or lines of code. Participants gained tools they could immediately apply in their daily routine, alongside a new team conversation around workload, increased personal awareness, and improved feelings of control and focus at work.
Improved focus and concentration
Stronger personal resilience
A new team conversation around workload
Wellbeing as an organizational process
Instead of one-off activities, a quarterly program was developed to create meaningful change in the employee experience and organizational engagement. The process began with an assessment of the organization’s needs and continued with a program combining body, mind, and performance.
The program included an ergonomics workshop, office yoga, mindfulness sessions, neuroscience principles, and the development of personal and professional skills. Measurement was also integrated to identify what truly worked. Throughout the quarter, employees were given opportunities to pause, reconnect with themselves and the organization, and build new habits. The result was stronger engagement, a greater sense of belonging, and a new organizational conversation around Wellbeing, balance, and performance.

Community management that became a business growth engine
Cibus’s HR community was built on the understanding that a community is not just a space for conversation, but a driver of real business value. The focus was on member behavior and on understanding what motivates people to respond, participate, and turn engagement into action.
From day one, the community was managed through data, combining response-driven content, surveys, questions, partner collaborations, benefits, events, and open conversations between members. Growth, response rates, event registrations, direct inquiries, and long-term engagement were continuously measured. The result was a more active community, events that filled up within minutes, and dozens of inquiries from organizations following targeted activities.

Employee communities as part of the employee experience
A six-month process was developed to establish and strengthen employee communities as part of enhancing Playtika’s employee experience and organizational culture. The process began with mapping employee needs, identifying shared interests, and selecting community themes with the potential to create meaningful, long-term engagement.
Each employee community received a structured plan that included clear goals, an activity calendar, a content strategy, management routines, and success metrics. Communities were created around women, parents and children, reservists, and mindful living. Over six months, each one was supported through meetings, workshops, lectures, experiential activities, digital content, branded kits, and professional guidance. The goal was to build active, sustainable employee communities that strengthen belonging, connect people across the organization, and create genuine value for both employees and the business.
